Counter Cafe furniture
New cafe furniture for the View tube/ Counter cafe, situated on the greenway overlooking the Olympic development.
Architecture Foundation Furniture
A collection of furniture for the Architecture Foundation gallery space London.
All pieces are constructed from leftover material from the installation of the Carmody Groarke interior.
Material: 18mm Cedar plywood.
Olympic ping pong
Ping pong funding is cut in the run up to 2012. One solution to the short fall could come in the form of the blue fence that surrounded the site of the development. This design is intended to be made from cheap or in this case free material. By resizing the table to 8′ x 4′ to fit with most sheet materials used on building sites it is intended to engage the public in temporary use of public space and inspire a love for the game.

Installed here in the new arboretum in Barking town square.
Blue stool
A product 0f 2012.
Plywood stool made from the hoarding that surrounded the London Olympic site.

New flat cups
New versions in white earthenware with clear glaze.

The making process creates 10 that are the same but different.
Street plotter
Tool that will mark defects in the road as you ride over them. Collectively the marks will become so big that the bumps will be easy to avoid. The city will feel smooth.

Potato print type
Buy a bag of potatoes making sure that it contains at least 13 potatoes. Cut in half and carve a letter into each.

Dig Design Demolish
One of the best slogans of the Olympic development. Depending on how you feel about the event you can re organize the words to fit your politics.

My personal favorite.
Endless pen and Endless pencil

Re soled shoes
Concept for the modern day cobbler. I want to bring traditional cobblers techniques up to date, so i have started to design tools to fulfill this concept. I want to encourage a new aesthetic through repair.Resoling shoes by dipping them in liquid rubber.

Modernist London
A series of pin badges based on my favorite Modernist buildings in London. Laser cut MDF

Unread books
I wanted to make some more room on our shelves, so i removed all the books that i hadn’t read. I wanted to celebrate this process of grouping, so created a piece of furniture that is truly bespoke.

Stacking cups
Inspired by the chaos in a stack of odd cups. I want to generate an order from this and develop new sets and new product. Work in progress…

Repaired chairs
I am interested in exploring the connections between objects, the common threads that link object histories to people and places. These chairs were all found discarded on London streets, all sharing the experience of being broken and unwanted. Using ratchet straps I have chosen to create a set, offering them a new life through the process of repair. Work in progress…
